Mothusi runs the conversation. Operators ask questions in their own language about cash flow, compliance, mentoring, buyer relationships, funding readiness, or a single document they cannot interpret. Mothusi answers with context, takes the next action, and writes the result to the growth record.
For new businesses, Mothusi runs a guided baseline that establishes stage, issue clusters, and finance readiness in a single session. For existing businesses, it produces a targeted backfill pack to verify what already exists. No SME is treated like a blank sheet.
When an operator is part of a programme, Mothusi is pre-loaded with their context: business profile, sector, current tier, prior interactions, and programme-specific evidence schema. The AI knows the operator from session one. Pre-training uses prompt context engineering and retrieval, not model fine-tuning, so operator data never enters underlying model training.
